MeGraham Lawrence was born in the UK. After training as a nurse in Edinburgh and working in Scotland and Switzerland his interest in computing led him to become a member of the Swiss Medical Informatics Society and the International Medical Informatics Association where he was both a delegate and a member of working groups in Hospital Information Systems travelling through Europe, the United States and Australia.

Graham trained in IT and worked for over a decade in IT support and development in the Geneva University Forensic Medical Institute before working for the Geneva State IT department where he was responsible for a team of specialists in Office Applications Support. For the past few years he has worked as an Organiser-Counselor for the Organization and Quality division of the IT department, specializing in Document Management and Collaborative Workspaces.

In 2007 he has been called to the support division of the Department of Construction and Information Technologies and will be charged with working on Intranet Communication Support while pursuing his work on collaborative workspaces.

He holds diplomas in Nursing (General and Psychiatric), a Programming Diploma, a Bachelors Degree in Computing and Mathematics and a Post-graduate certificate in Technology management.

Graham has several personal websites and manages the Ingénieurs du Monde Website since 2005. His interest for the social and humanitarian application of technology will be expressed through his professional website.

He is married with three children.
